Our client, a leading and top performing Hedge Fund is looking for a Global Commodities COO to join their growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity to operate at the top table of global financial investing.
The firm is dedicated to building on existing success in Commodities Investing and has allocated considerable resources to support the Global Commodities COO in building elite teams, integrating existing teams, and focusing on mainly front office/commercial matters. Our client understands the global commodities markets in depth, and has invested over many decades, so is very well placed to realise the full potential in these strategies over the coming years, and the Global COO will be imperative to their success.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience as a COO/Portfolio Manager/ Trader for an established Hedge Fund, Investment, or similar operation.
- Excellent track record in developing Commodities platforms with global exposure, International trading experience is a bonus
- Expertise in alpha research, portfolio construction, optimization, risk management, trade execution and Portfolio Management, client/counterparty engagement, front office operations (physical and/or financial)
- Ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing teams across trading and/or operations
