Key responsibilities
- Conduct cutting-edge research in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, reinforcement learning, and related AI domains.
- Develop novel algorithms and models that can be applied to large-scale, high-dimensional financial data.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and technologists to design, test, and implement trading signals and predictive models.
- Drive innovation in data-driven decision-making by leveraging alternative data, unstructured information, and state-of-the-art AI techniques.
- Contribute to the end-to-end research cycle, from hypothesis generation and model development to live deployment in trading strategies.
Ideal candidate profile
- PhD or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
- Proven track record of research in AI/ML with publications in top-tier conferences/journals or impactful applied projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java, and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, etc.).
- Expertise in handling large, high-dimensional datasets and implementing scalable models.
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
- Prior experience in financial markets is welcome but not required—a passion for applying AI research to real-world challenges is essential.
