We are hiring a LATAM / Brazil Rates Assistant Portfolio Manager or Portfolio Manager to join a team-based rates trading pod at a top-tier multi-strategy hedge fund. This role focuses on trading Brazilian and broader LATAM rates markets, contributing ideas, managing risk, and supporting portfolio construction within a collaborative pod structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and execute rates trading ideas across Brazil and LATAM
  • Trade instruments including rates futures, swaps, bonds, and options
  • Actively manage risk and contribute to PnL generation
  • Work closely with senior PMs within a team-based trading framework

Requirements

  • Buy-side experience trading rates or macro strategies
  • Proven ability to generate ideas and take risk in live markets
  • Strong understanding of Brazilian and LATAM rates markets
  • Disciplined risk management and execution skills
