We are hiring an experienced Equity Long/Short Portfolio Manager to join top-tier global hedge funds and multi-strategy platforms. This role focuses on generating alpha through fundamental or systematic long/short equity strategies, with full ownership of idea generation, portfolio construction, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an equity long/short portfolio with full PnL responsibility
- Generate alpha through fundamental research, factor models, or hybrid approaches
- Construct and manage market-neutral or net exposure portfolios
- Implement disciplined risk management and drawdown controls
- Work closely with analysts, quants, and execution teams
Requirements
- Proven track record as an Equity L/S Portfolio Manager or senior analyst
- Strong stock selection, portfolio construction, and risk management skills
- Experience managing gross/net exposure and position sizing
- Background in fundamental, systematic, or blended equity strategies
