Q1 marked a dynamic start to the year for the hedge fund industry, with notable talent reshuffles and strategic hires across key global markets. Below, we highlight some of the most impactful moves from the past few months.

Strategic departures and transitions

  • Roneal Desai, previously Head of Software at Millennium-backed Delta Global Management, has exited after just over a year, having joined from Kinetic Partners.
  • Robert Cartwright, former Head of Commodities at Xantium Group (a unit of Tudor Investment Corporation), has joined Qube Research & Technologies as Quantitative Trading Director.

Global expansion and senior appointments

  • Dymon Asia has continued its multi-strategy buildout with the addition of macro PMs Saleh Zaidi (ex-Astignes) and Akshat Sinha (ex-Southern Ridges).
  • ARP Global Capital has appointed Innes Harding as Group COO & CFO in Dubai, following his tenure at Lingotto.
