According to a Mint story, Rishi Kohli has been named chief investment officer-hedge fund strategies at InCred Alternatives Investments Pvt Ltd, the alternative assets division of the InCred Group.

With the company having already ventured into long-short equities, venture capital, and structured credit investing, Kohli, a hedge fund veteran with over 21 years of expertise in Indian capital markets, will take on responsibility for running InCred's first quant fund in his new position.

Prior to joining InCred, Kohli was affiliated with Avendus after founding the first systematic managed futures fund in Asia at ProAlpha in 2011 and the first quantitative hedge fund in India in 2007 while working for US-based Monsoon Capital.

With a concentration on quantitative and systematic trading, Kohli has managed numerous hedge fund strategies throughout Asia and India during his career.
