FACTSET and ALVEO offer integrated data solutions

By Matea Gucec

In order to give clients integrated solutions that make it easier to incorporate FactSet material into workflows and databases, FactSet and Alveo have agreed to a new collaboration that combines their respective data and data management capabilities.

The idea comes after FactSet's ESG content was successfully incorporated into Alves' data management platform.

The partnership will cut down on the time needed to integrate new data sets and business applications, enabling customers to make the most of all of FactSet's data. In addition to FactSet's Concordance for security identification and legal entity recognition, this also incorporates FactSet's ESG and broader corporate actions services.

FactSet material can be cross-referenced and linked with client data sets or content obtained from other data providers as part of a client's business process with the use of Alveo's data management solutions. The partnership will also offer capabilities for data lineage, data governance, data cleaning, cloud sharing delivery, and connection with customers' workflows and cloud data warehouses.

Alveo focuses on the integration of market and reference data from various external and internal sources, which covers all asset classes. This includes price information, referential information, ESG data, issuer, and corporate actions data. The collection, integration, and quality-vetting of a wide range of content providers are tracked by Alveo's cloud-based data mastering and data quality solution. In addition to working together to develop connected solutions, FactSet content now includes corporate activities data in Alveo's off-the-shelf integrations.
