The emerging global hotspot for Hedge Funds

By Matea Gucec

According to Financial News, Arvind Ramamurthy, Chief of Market Development, shares that over 30 hedge funds are in talks to set up their operations in Abu Dhabi's financial centre. The momentum is real, and the market is vibrant!

Abu Dhabi Global Market has already seen the likes of Brevan Howard and Florin Court Capital establishing their presence, and many more are on the way. At the moment, 96 asset managers, including five virtual asset service providers, operate in this financial hub.

It's a testament to the region's attractiveness that firms are leveraging tax benefits, time zone advantages, proximity to massive sovereign wealth funds, and an expanding pool of expat talent.

As we see more firms like UK's Florin Court Capital and Brevan Howard growing their global workforce here, it's clear that the UAE is shaping up to be a formidable hotspot for the hedge fund industry. We are witnessing the dawn of a new financial era!
