We are partnered with a global $20BN AUM multi-strategy hedge fund client, who are expanding their macro business in NY as part of a global push into the space. Part of these plans involve hiring world class technologists into the business.
The mandate is to bring in a Senior Software Engineer who will be instrumental in architecting and delivering the core macro platform that is used by the investment team (Portfolio Managers, Quants, Analysts) to augment their process.
Strong applicants will have a wealth of experience in architecting and building backend applications beginning from the design phase through to implementation. The OOP background can be flexible with a preference for Python.
Ideally we need 5-15 years experience in software engineering, strong STEM academics and a background in big tech/finance/start ups.
Tech Stack: Python/C++, Kubernetes, AWS, Docker, Rust, SQL
