Senior Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• • Monitoring and Incident Response - analysis of security alerts and incidents, prioritizing and differentiating between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms. Create and track security investigations to resolution and continually improve detection capabilities and streamline incident response activities.

   

  • • Infrastructure Development - build, and implement enterprise-class security systems used for the monitoring, detection, and response to security events in a complex, international technology environment. This will involve both the integration of COTS solutions as well as designing and developing our own bespoke solutions.

     

    • • Intelligence - informed on the latest intelligence, including hackers’ methodologies, to anticipate possible security breaches.

       

      Key skills:

       

      • • Leadership - Closely work with different teams across the company, providing advice and leadership on security matters that ensure we have the best possible chance of detecting and responding to developing security incidents. Act as a mentor to junior staff members.

          • Production grade, scripting / coding in one or more languages such as Python / Ruby / PowerShell / C# / Java / Rust / Go or similar.
          • Knowledge of technical security risks across operating systems (Windows, Linux), networks, and applications
          • Securing infrastructure at scale with configuration management / security compliance / policy as code tooling.
