Our client, a leading global multi $ Bn hedge fund are now looking to hire an Investment Analyst for a U.S. healthcare team.
Location: Washington DC or NYC
This is an opportunity to work directly with the PM and get exposure to all of the sub-sectors across healthcare (biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc.)
Responsibilities:
? Attending investment and industry conferences and reading industry newsletters
? Learning financial statement analysis and eventually creating and maintaining a range of valuation models
? Learning the business principles, strategy, market and competitive dynamics in the sectors
? Shadowing the PM on all tasks and learning the team’s unique and deep research process
? Eventually speaking with the sell-side analysts and company management teams
Qualifications:
? ~ 1-2 years of experience in a sell-side, buy-side or consulting role
? Bachelor’s Degree from a top 10 university
? Interested in learning and going above and beyond the task at hand
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
? Strong analytical skills
? Strong communication skills
? Strong modeling skills
