Our client, a global hedge fund with $14bn+ AuM, are looking for an Investment Analyst (L/S healthcare) to join a talented team based in their New York office.
Responsibilities:
- Attending investment and industry conferences and reading industry newsletters
- Learning financial statement analysis and eventually creating and maintaining a range of valuation models
- Learning the business principles, strategy, market and competitive dynamics in the sectors
- Shadowing the PM on all tasks and learning the team's unique and deep research process
- Eventually speaking with the sell-side analysts and company management teams
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a buy-side, sell-side or consulting role
- Bachelor's Degree from a top 10 university
- Strong modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Interested in learning and going above and beyond the task at hand
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
